This page explains which cookies and third-party services Nepal all you need to know (nepal.allyouneedtoknow.tips) uses, what they are for, and how you can choose. It also applies to the other sites of the All you need to know project (allyouneedtoknow.tips and its subdomains), which share the same choice.
Who we are
The site is run by Alessandro Travi and Denise Caggio. For any request about your data, write to us with the form that opens from the envelope icon at the bottom of every page.
What we use
Technical cookies (always on)
aynk_consent: remembers your cookie choice. It lasts 1 year and applies to all*.allyouneedtoknow.tipssites.- Language preference: we store the language you choose in your browser (localStorage, key
aynk-lang) to take you straight to the right version.
Statistics with Google Analytics 4 (only if you accept)
We measure in aggregate how many people visit the site, from which country, on which device and which pages they read, to understand what is most useful. The tool is Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC). It sets the _ga and _ga_<ID> cookies (up to 2 years). Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses. Data is kept in Analytics for the configured period (14 months at most).
Until you accept, Google Analytics is not loaded and no statistics cookie is stored.
Amazon affiliate links (only if you accept)
Some links in articles and tips lead to products on Amazon. If you accept, we load the Amazon OneLink script, which points the link to the Amazon store of your country. Amazon may set its own cookies and process browsing data under its own policy. If you decline, the links still work but go to the default store.

Maps (OpenStreetMap, OpenTopoMap, Esri)
When you view a map, your browser downloads map tiles from the servers of OpenStreetMap, OpenTopoMap and, if you choose the satellite view, Esri. To do so these services receive your IP address and the address of the page, as any external site would. We set no cookies for maps and have no control over what these services log: see their policies on their own sites.
Other services
- Hosting (Netlify): the site is served by Netlify, which like any server logs some technical data about visits (IP address, requested page) for security and operation.
- Contact form: if you write to us, your name, email address and message are stored on Netlify and used only to reply to you.
- Ko-fi, Instagram, Facebook, X: these are plain links opening in another tab. We do not load their scripts on these pages.
How to change or withdraw your consent
At the bottom of every page there is a Cookie settings link: click it and the banner comes back so you can accept or decline. If you decline, we remove the Google Analytics cookies we had stored. Third-party cookies already set by other services (for example Amazon) can be deleted from your browser settings.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, and you can object to processing. If you think your data is not handled properly you can lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, garanteprivacy.it).
